A river cuts through rock, not because of its power, but because of its persistence.

Hey there! I hope everyone is doing well. Welcome to the next round of the Sunan Weekly Roundup!

What Are We Working On?

This week at Sunan Designs, we’ve been focused on projects that require steady effort and long-term vision. One of the most exciting updates is that our podcast channel, The Impact Lab, is gaining momentum! Our second episode is already out, and we’re really excited about the conversations we’re bringing to the table. This podcast is our way of exploring ideas, sharing insights, and amplifying voices that inspire action.

My Biggest Takeaway: A river cuts through rock, not because of its power, but because of its persistence.

Some of the best lessons we learn aren’t from textbooks or institutions; they’re from right around us, from the most common or natural things.

A river doesn’t break a rock in a single moment. It doesn’t force its way through with sheer strength. Instead, it flows, drop by drop, persistently shaping the hardest surfaces over time. It’s a quiet but powerful reminder that consistency, not just power, is what creates lasting impact.

Persistence wins. Whether it’s a campaign, a brand, or a personal goal, nothing happens overnight. The biggest challenges we face—whether in business or in life—aren’t about overpowering obstacles but about outlasting them. Every challenge is like a rock in our path, but if we remain steady, consistent, and adaptable, we carve a way through.

This week, I’m reminding myself that it’s okay if things don’t happen instantly. The key is to keep moving, keep creating, and keep showing up—just like a river shaping the rock.

What’s something you’ve been working on consistently, even when the results aren’t immediate? Let’s talk persistence.
