Be not like a feather blown about by the wind; be firm in your convictions.

Hey there! I hope everyone is doing well. Welcome to the next round of the Sunan Weekly Roundup!

What Are We Working On?

As we prepare for Ramadan, the biggest month of giving, we’ve aligned our goals with purpose-driven brands and nonprofits to make this holy month as impactful as possible. Ramadan is not only a time for spiritual growth but also an opportunity to give back and create meaningful change. With the war in Gaza hopefully coming to an end, now is the time for all of us to unite and rebuild. As a Muslim marketing agency, we are committed to amplifying the voices of those working tirelessly to support Gaza’s recovery efforts and strengthen communities worldwide. Whether it’s through crafting compelling campaigns or developing impactful strategies, we’re here to make a difference.

Here’s what we’ve been up to:

  • Ramadan Campaigns: Developing strategies and visuals that encourage generosity and highlight the importance of giving during Ramadan.
  • Support for Gaza: Partnering with nonprofits to create awareness and raise funds for rebuilding efforts in Gaza, ensuring their stories and needs are heard.

My Biggest Takeaway: Be not like a feather blown about by the wind; be firm in your convictions.

This week, I’ve been reflecting on the quote from Umar ibn al-Khattab (RA): “Be not like a feather blown about by the wind; be firm in your convictions.” It’s a reminder to show up with clarity and conviction in everything we do. Too often, we’re tempted to chase what’s easy—the trends, the noise, the fleeting opportunities. But when you’re clear about your purpose, you’re not just reacting; you’re leading.

For me, this quote is about refusing to drift aimlessly. It’s about planting your feet and saying, This is what I stand for. This is where I’m going. And that’s the energy I’ve brought to the table this week.

Being firm in your convictions doesn’t mean you ignore challenges—it means you embrace them as part of the journey. You adapt without losing sight of your core. It’s the kind of strength that transforms not only how you work but how others perceive you. People respect a leader who’s unshaken by the winds.

So, this week, I’ve doubled down on aligning every decision with what matters most: creating meaningful impact for the clients and causes we serve. Whether it’s brainstorming campaigns, finalizing designs, or strategizing with nonprofits, the focus remains on delivering value that’s grounded in purpose—not passing trends.

Let this be a call to action: Stand firm. Own your space. Show up for what you believe in. Because when you’re clear about your mission, nothing can knock you off course.

Time to Level Up!
