Don’t celebrate the wins; celebrate how many times you played.

Hey there! I hope everyone is doing well. Welcome to the next round of the Sunan Weekly Roundup!

What Are We Working On?

This week at Sunan Designs, we’ve been diving deep into the art of consistency. From crafting Ramadan campaigns to developing engaging content for Muslim-led brands, our focus has shifted from chasing outcomes to honoring the process.

Instead of stressing over how many followers a post gains or how many leads a campaign generates, we’re tracking how many times we’ve shown up. Every blog written, every design created, and every strategy session held—that’s where the real growth happens.

My Biggest Takeaway: Don’t celebrate the wins; celebrate how many times you played.

We often get caught up in the outcome—whether it’s hitting a specific number on the scale, gaining a certain amount of followers, or closing a big deal. But the truth is, the outcome is just the tip of the iceberg. What really matters is everything beneath the surface: the effort, the discipline, the small, often unnoticed actions you repeat day after day.

Think about it like this: Going to the gym isn’t just about losing weight or seeing immediate physical changes. It’s about showing up when you’re tired, completing your sets even when the scale refuses to budge, and pushing through those workouts when motivation is nowhere to be found. That’s where the real transformation happens—not in the results, but in the process.

The same applies to marketing. It’s not about the one post that goes viral or the one campaign that outperforms expectations. It’s about the countless drafts you’ve written, the designs you’ve refined, the captions you’ve crafted, and the strategies you’ve tested. It’s about the days you felt stuck but showed up anyway, the emails you sent that didn’t get replies, and the ideas that didn’t land—but taught you something new.

This mindset is the ultimate consistency hack.
Wins are fleeting, but the habit of showing up, day after day, is what builds lasting success. It’s not the victory laps that define you—it’s the laps you ran when no one was watching. So here’s to the cold calls made, the blog posts published, the campaigns launched, and the designs crafted—even when no one’s clapping yet.

Because when you focus on how many times you’ve played, not only do the wins come naturally, but you also realize, you were winning all along.
