Raise Your Ambition

Author: Taha Malik

Hey!
Hope everyone is doing well. Welcome to the next round of the Sunan Weekly Roundup!

What we are working on:

This week, we released another great article titled 4 things to consider when rebranding. If you’re looking to steer your business in an entirely new direction, a rebrand can be your magic bullet. Something that will help you shrug off the old stale shell and get a fresh new start. While it is true that if carried out successfully, a rebrand can really have a powerful impact on your bottom line, thinking of it as a magic bullet is the wrong way to proceed.

In fact, if executed poorly, a rebrand can leave lasting damage on your company reputation. Before you take the plunge, it is very important to carefully think and plan out every step you’re going to take. In this article, we outline four things you absolutely must consider before deciding to rebrand your company or product!

Another eye opening piece we are currently working on is a guide on how Poor design can cost you millions of dollars! More on this in our next post!

My biggest takeaway this week: Raise Your Ambition

Over the past few days, I have had the honor of attending the HPX conference here in sunny San Diego with Brendon Burchard. One of the biggest takeaways I have had is the importance of raising our ambition. Having a greater sense of determination and desire to do something so much greater than ourselves. At the end of the day, it comes down to having a bigger mindset.

Is our current mindset and perspective small or do we really want to challenge ourselves to create something amazing. Do we have a mindset of just paying rent or is our ambition big enough to build an empire? The simple ambition of making $30K a year or the drive to make $30M a year?

So how do we do this?

It’s actually easier than you think. We all have ambitions to be someone or to create something. For example, my ambition for Sunan was to be a marketing and design firm. But if i want to level up our ambition, I have to shift our perspective. Rather than being an expert in design and marketing, our new ambition is to become a world class design and marketing firm. See the difference!? Now when you approach your work, your goals and your perspectives are going to be much different. And for us here at Sunan, when we are creating design and marketing strategies, our perspectives are going to be drastically different!

Is our ambition big enough to get us out of bed excited every morning?

It’s time for all of us to make our ambition our necessity.

Now, here is your challenge for the week: take a hard look at yourself and raise your ambition. It’s time to stop thinking small. Why can’t we become world renowned at what we do?

Time to level up!
