Hey there! I hope everyone is doing well. It’s been a little while since our last roundup, and there’s been a lot brewing behind the scenes. We’ve been moving on multiple fronts: polishing client strategies, experimenting with new ideas, refining internal workflows, and reconnecting with the purpose that drives us.
What Are We Working On?
- We’re deep in strategy sessions for upcoming campaigns, ensuring every piece (visual, copy, flow) is rooted in meaning, not just aesthetics.
- We’ve also been auditing past projects, not to judge but to harvest what we learned, and make tweaks where alignment slipped.
- Internally, we’re focusing on building clarity: who we are, what we believe, how that should reflect in every decision (big or small).
- We’ve just finalized our 7th episode of the Impact Lab Podcast, where we discussed design and barakah with Umar Shahzad, the Head of Design at LaunchGood.
My Biggest Takeaway: “Our identity is forged not by what others see, but by what we carry within.”
To me, this quote speaks to how Sunan operates behind the curtain. What people see, our designs, the campaigns, the launches, is only the tip of the iceberg. The deeper identity is in what we carry within:
- The standards we refuse to compromise
- The empathy we bring into every meeting
- The late nights reviewing details no one else notices
- The intention to serve, not just to deliver
These internal commitments are what shape our real identity, our reputation, our culture, and how we show up even when no one is watching.
At Sunan, we believe work ethic isn’t just about output. It’s about integrity, care, consistency, and purpose. This week, I challenge the team (and myself): let whatever we carry within guide what we make on the surface. Because over time, that’s what builds trust, credibility, and legacy.
Time to Level Up!
